This third edition of the Supernova Rise marks a notable change of direction from its predecessors, offering a more cushioned and modern daily training experience.

This neutral shoe stands out for its excellent impact absorption and outstanding grip thanks to its new outsole layout. The renewed Primeweave upper provides a roomy fit that suits high-volume feet, while the midsole feels softer than in previous versions. Compared with rivals such as the Brooks Ghost 17, the Asics Gel Cumulus 27 or the Mizuno Wave Rider 29, the Supernova Rise 3 positions itself as a versatile option with remarkable value for money. It is ideal for runners looking for a comfortable daily trainer with good cushioning that adapts to every type of gait.

Compared with previous versions, the changes are obvious: more cushioning underfoot, a modernised design and better stability. However, runners who valued the extreme flexibility of v1 and v2 may find that this version feels less natural, with less energy return, as the Dreamstrike+ compound is not fully convincing. Even so, it is a step forward for the Adidas Supernova range, which aims to regain the relevance of better times.
